I started playing Horizon Zero Dawn, a video game set in a post-apocalyptic future where animal-like machines attack and tribes rule the continent. I’m 15 hours in, it takes around 25-40 hours to finish, and I’m really enjoying it so far.

Fourth of July came and went. I went to my cousins to swim and have dinner, which was fun. I didn’t do fireworks or anything; I’m not a big fireworks person anyway.

I finished the crochet blanket I was working on. I’ll insert a pic of it below. It’s wider than the pink and green one I made before. I think I’m going to add width to that one soon so I can give it to my friend. The one I just made is for myself, and I got some more yarn to make one for my mom, but with a different stitch pattern. I’m trying to challenge myself to make them full size (aka at least throw blanket size or twin bed sized) instead of getting lazy halfway through and turning it into a dog or cat blanket. It’s so rewarding, though, finishing such a big project. For anyone curious, I like to use Caron Cake Yarn for the blankets because they have good colorways available at Michaels.
