My sister and I are going to start working on making a video game. She knows how to use programs like Maya and Unreal Engine, and I know how to write, so we’re combining our skills to make one.

I finished a crochet project that I freehanded. It’s a brushbuddy from Witch Hat Atelier, which is a type of animal in the show/manga. I had a lot of fun messing around with the pattern to get it to look right. I also put wire in the tail so I could curl it, which was the first time I ever used wire in a crochet project.

After finishing up that project, I bought a pattern off of Etsy to make a crochet Esquie plush from Expedition 33, which is a video game. I tried free-handing one before but got kind of stuck halfway through, so I never finished it. I’m trying to finish it before starting another project. Other than that, I have a blanket I’m working on that I’m almost done with. It’s taken me a couple of months to work on it, but I have been going back to it on and off, so that’s why it’s not done yet.

This week we’re having a heat wave, and I wish we weren’t because one, it’s hot, and two, I want to sit and read outside, but it’s too warm.
