7/17/26- Blankets, Broken Things, and Favorites

I re-finished a crochet blanket. I finished it, realized it wasn’t wide enough, so I added width to it. I’m gifting it to a friend, so I wanted it done by Saturday, and I accomplished that. I’ll put a picture of it below.

At the beginning of the week, the AC in my room started leaking water. Long story short, I got a new one, which doesn’t quite fit in my window, but my mom and I got it to work. I also had a sconce on my wall that started shocking me, so I took it off the wall, and now I have to cover it. This all happened over the course of two days, and it was kind of hectic for a bit.

Favorites this Week-

I’m going to start doing weekly favorites when I feel like adding a little something extra to my entry, even though I don’t post on a schedule.

  • Laid-Back Camp: An anime about a high school camping club. Cute and chill, easy to watch in the background while crocheting or doing a craft, I’m already on the second season.
  • Demon Slayer (Manga): The name of this Manga is kind of self-explanatory, and it’s not a new release or anything. I finished what’s out of the anime a month or so back, and am trying to finish the manga in anticipation of the first part of the Infinity Castle arc coming out.
  • Moka Pot: A moka pot is used to make coffee. I bought one a while ago and rediscovered it the other night. To me, it tastes better than coffee brewed in a Keurig, but that might just be a placebo effect.
  • Horizon Zero Dawn: A video game set in a post-apocalyptic world. I’ve gotten about 23 hours in and am loving it. The world is beautiful, and I love the quests and combat. Would recommend if you haven’t played it and are into video games (if you want to drop $50).
  • Crochet: Crochet is my all-time favorite hobby. I’m currently in a blanket phase and am on my third one in the past couple of months.
