This week has been semi-eventful. My mom’s birthday was Wednesday, and we went to Painting With a Twist on Thursday to celebrate it. Then Friday, a friend and I went out to lunch and then to Barnes and Noble. I got two books (pictured below) and had a good time.

An update on that medication I was planning on going down on, it’s going fine so far. The last time I decreased the dose, it made me anxious and restless, and that’s happening this time as well. I think it’s a sort of withdrawal from it that’s causing those symptoms, but I am not going to go back on the dose I was on because of the issues that it was causing. My blood pressure seems to be doing better, still high, but not nearly as high as it was, so I’ll take it. It’s probably going to take me being off of it completely for a while for it to fully stabilize.
I’ve been to the library twice this week, and I finished a memoir I borrowed in two days. I had four books I needed to return, and I got two more non-fiction books today. I started one, and I’m iffy about it. It seems a little depressing, but I’ll see how it pans out.
My ADHD has been bad as usual, as I’m not on any medication for it. I’ve been struggling to have motivation or a want to do any of my hobbies, and while that may sound like depression, for me it’s actually under-stimulation. My current plan for ADHD is to try a supplement, but I don’t know which one I’m going to try yet. I can’t be on any actual ADHD meds, stimulant or non-stimulant, because of my POTS, and I’m super sensitive to medications, which doesn’t help anything, so that’s why I’m trying a supplement.
I wish it were nicer out, it’s currently 45 degrees and cloudy. I like sitting outside to read, but I can’t really do that when it’s like this out. Although the other day, when I sat outside for an hour and read, it triggered my POTS, so I don’t really know if it’s a good idea for me to do that. It’s kind of a cost-benefit analysis because being outside is good for my mental health, but not great for my physical health. It’s tough.
